How to Use the 55×5 Manifestation Method to Change and Transform Your Life
Do you have lots of goals and want to make big changes in your life, but find it’s hard to stay on track?
If you’re like me and struggle with staying focused, then the 55×5 manifestation method is for you. It will help you keep your mind in the present moment while writing out positive affirmations over and over again. Writing down these positive thoughts can help shift your energy towards what it is that you want from life.
55×5 Manifestation is a scripting method where you write a positive affirmation 55 times for 5 days straight. It uses the power of focus, repetition and the spiritual significance of the numbers 5 and 55 to allow you to easily manifest what you desire.
The 55×5 manifestation method is a powerful and effective way to create change in your life if it’s done the right way. So, today I’m going to share with you my proven step-by-step guide to the 55×5 manifestation method so that it gets results for you. Excited? Well, read on!
Is 55×5 Manifestation Right For Me?
Maybe. Maybe not. Huh? Let me explain…
In DIY you need to use the right tool for the job and the same applies to manifestation. Think of the 55×5 Manifestation method as the ‘Big Daddy’ of manifesting methods. It’s very powerful and it absolutely does work BUT it’s not the right tool for every job and its definitely not for small things. For example, I wouldn’t use it to:
- Manifest an extra $500
- Manifest a date with the guy in the coffee shop that I think is okay
- Manifest a phone call from my friend after a small disagreement
I’m not saying these things aren’t important. What I am saying is that one of the other manifesting methods would be more than enough to do the job. The 33×3 Manifestation Method is my go to tool. It’s an abridged version of the 55×5 Manifestation method – and it works brilliantly.
So, how do you know when it is a good time to roll out the 55×5 Manifestation method? Have a think about the following:
What is it You Want to Manifest?
In Numerology the number 5 is all about CHANGE. It’s this energy of change that we’re tapping into when we’re doing the 55×5 manifestation method. So, I would reserve the 55×5 manifestation method for things related to change and transformation.
For example, a change in career, moving to a new city or manifesting your soul mate would be great things to use the 55×5 manifestation method for.
These things have a theme of change and transformation associated with them. And they’re big and significant enough to justify the time investment required for the 55×5 manifestation method.

How strongly do you feel about what you’re trying to manifest? Do you feel deeply and passionately about it? Are you passionate enough to maintain the energy for 5 days straight?
You won’t have success with the 55×5 manifestation method by going through the motions of writing your positive affirmation out 55 times, for 5 days straight. You need to be in a high energetic vibration, feel excited and have a sense of positive anticipation. To be able to maintain this, you need to care deeply about what you’re wanting to manifest.

Do you believe that the 55×5 Manifestation method will work for you? Are you new to manifesting or have you already had some positive experience of manifesting?
Belief is everything here and you need to work within your current belief system. If you think it will work for you, it will. If you’re skeptical and don’t think it will work, then guess what? It won’t.

If you’re new to manifesting I would not start with the 55×5 Manifestation method. To make the commitment to the exercise that’s necessary for it to be successful, you need to believe that it’s going to work for you. And if you’re like most people, you need to see before you believe. You need to have seen success using manifestation methods to believe in them and know that they’ll work for you.
Do you have the time and headspace to commit to the 55×5 Manifestation method for 5 days straight? It’s a pretty big commitment. It will likely take you up to one hour a day (depending on how fast you write – but you don’t want to rush this, as that will miss the point). And you need to be available for 5 days straight – consistently. If you miss a day, you need to go back to the start as you’ll lose the energy and momentum.
Don’t start the 55×5 Manifestation method unless you know that you’re going to have the time and headspace to complete it.
I’m sharing all this with you, not to put you off using the 55×5 manifestation method, but to make sure you don’t waste your time. After all, time is the most precious thing we have. The 55×5 manifestation method takes time and I want to make sure your time is well spent!

I also don’t want you to get halfway through the process, give up and lose faith in the whole manifesting thing – that would be a huge shame.

Before you get started, here’s a couple of tips to ensure your success with the 55×5 manifestation method:
Write It Down
There’s something powerful about putting pen to paper and writing your positive affirmations by hand (rather than using a computer or phone). When you’re doing the 55×5 manifestation method you’re trying to get your
unconscious mind to focus on something that’s important to you – your goal. By hand writing your affirmations it sends a clear signal to your unconscious mind that this is something important that you want it to focus on. Writing by hand takes times, effort and it also slows you down a bit. These things all send strong messages to your unconscious mind that it needs to pay attention.
Focus On One Thing at a Time
When drafting your positive affirmation, focus on one thing and one area of your life at a time. If you try to merge two things into one affirmation to save some time, then it will only dilute the message to your unconscious mind.
And remember, we want the message to your unconscious mind to be loud and clear – this is something that’s important to me and I want you to focus on it.
Once you’ve finished your 5 days of writing 55 positive affirmations, feel free to choose another affirmation and do it again if you wish. But don’t over-lap them – keep the focus.
Check Your Vibes
I know I’ve mentioned this before, but it’s so important that I’ll say it again. The success of your 55×5 manifestation efforts is dependent on your energy. What you put out you will attract more of into your life. If you put out high
energetic vibrations, you’ll attract things and people into your life that have a similar vibration. If you have a low energetic vibration of frustration, neediness or desperation, then you’ll attract things into your life that have a similar low vibration.

Assuming that what ever you want to manifest is a positive thing – you’ll need to get yourself in a positive energetic vibration. And you’ll need to keep yourself there for the duration of the exercise.
Come back to Step One of the process any time you need to re-set. Think about what works for you and what YOU need to do to get into a positive, high energetic vibration.

How to do the 55×5 Manifestation Method
Step One: Clear Your Mind
The most important thing for the 55×5 manifestation method to be successful is your energy. Before we start, you need to get in a positive energetic vibration. How you do this is quite a personal thing. Some people like to listen to uplifting music that they love, some people like to walk in nature and others like to do a gratitude exercise. I like to meditate for a few minutes – it works so better than anything else for me!
I know that learning to meditate can be a lot harder than it sounds. Which is why I’m so pleased that Emily Fletcher has a free Masterclass for you. Emily is amazing and manages to make meditation easy and fun – both important factors if you’re going to make meditation a consistent part of your routine. Think of this first step as setting the scene and clearing the space. You might also like to put some aromatherapy oils in a burner, light a candle or position your crystals around you.
Whatever works for you! Spend a few minutes to get yourself in a high energetic vibration, so that you feel positive and excited to start your 55×5 manifestation exercise.
Step Two: Visualise your Goal
When you’re ready, close your eyes and begin to visualise the goal, dream or aspiration that you want to manifest.
Allow the image to build and use all your senses. Imagine your goal AS IF it has already happened and you have it in your life NOW. What are you doing? Who are you with? How do you feel? What can you see and smell? What happens next?
Once you have your picture, I want you to turn up its intensity. Ask yourself:
If I made the picture bigger, would it be more compelling?
Would I feel stronger about it?
If Yes, make the picture bigger. If No, leave it as it is.
Now ask yourself each of these in turn:
If I made the picture brighter / louder / nearer would it be more compelling?
Would I feel stronger about it?
If Yes, make the picture brighter / louder / nearer. If No, leave it as it is.
Make any other changes you wish to, to make your visualisation the most compelling, exciting and positive for you. Don’t second guess yourself on this. Use your intuition and let it guide you about what’s the most compelling image for you.
Step Three: Draft Your Positive Affirmation
When you’re ready open your eyes and come back into the room. Now we’re going to draft the positive affirmation that you’re going to use for your 55×5 manifestation exercise. Pick up your pen and start to brainstorm in your workbook your thoughts and ideas about what you want your positive affirmation to be.
Think about the visualisation you’ve just done. Let that visualisation guide and help you to work out what words you want in your positive affirmation.
Write out your draft positive affirmation a few times and play around with the wording until you’re happy with it and it feels right to you. Again, let your intuition guide you – you’ll know when you have the right words.
To ensure you write the strongest positive affirmation possible, try to include the following:
Gratitude: I like to start my positive affirmations with a gratitude statement. Genuine gratitude creates one of the highest energetic vibrations. The Universe loves gratitude! And the health and well-being benefits of gratitude have been well documented too! Check out this article here.
Try starting your affirmation with one of the following:
Thank you Universe for…
I am grateful for…
….and I’m so grateful that x is now in my life.
Emotion: Include some emotion and feeling in your positive affirmation:
I’m so happy that…
I’m so excited that…
I’m so thrilled that…
Short and concise: Make your positive affirmation a single line only. You want it punchy and to the point. If you’re forced to edit a sentence so that it’s short, it makes you to choose the absolute essence of what you’re trying to get at. It’s this core that we want to capture, not lots of fluffy words around it.
And remember, you’re going to be writing this 55 times in one sitting. You’ll thank me for forcing you to edit your affirmation I promise!
Make it positive: At the risk of stating the obvious, you need to ensure that your positive affirmation is positive! Make sure it says what you do want, not what you don’t want. This is actually harder than it sounds. We’re so used to focusing on what we don’t want. It takes thought and sometimes a bit of courage to put a stake in the ground and declare what we do want.

Step Four: Write Your Positive Affirmation 55 Times (Day One)
Now you have your positive affirmation and you’re happy with the wording, it’s time to put pen to paper for real and start to write. Write your positive affirmation out 55 times.
When you’re writing, you need to re-create the positive energy that you had when you were visualising your goal. Writing your positive affirmation out 55 times is not enough. You need to feel the positive energy of your goal. Focus on and celebrate every word and every sentence. Think about what this goal means for you. Imagine that your goal is already in your life. Imagine it AS IF.

You need to maintain this positive energy while you write all 55 positive affirmations! It’s not essential, but you might like to say your positive affirmation out loud as you write it. This can help you maintain the positive energy and feel your goal.
You need to write all 55 positive affirmations in one sitting. The power of repetition is the key ingredient that makes the 55×5 manifestation work so well. By repeating your positive affirmation 55 times is gives a clear message to your unconscious mind that this is something important – and that you want it to focus on it.
If you do some in the morning, some more at lunch time and then a couple more at before bed, you’ll dilute the energy and power of the 55×5 manifestation method. You’re aiming to build the focus of your unconscious mind by taking the time to write all 55 positive affirmations in one sitting.
If you think you’ll get distracted and not have the time to finish all 55 positive affirmations in one sitting, then wait until later in the day when you can. It doesn’t matter what time of day you do this. The most important thing is that you do all 55 in one sitting.
Step Five: Write Your Positive Affirmation 55 Times Again (Day Two)
On day two, you’ll write your positive affirmation out 55 times again in your workbook. Before you get started with your writing, re-visit Step One of this guide and re-set your positive energy ready to start writing.
Like yesterday, ensure that you think about what you’re writing. What does this goal mean to you? Remember to imagine it AS IF you already have it in your life now. Imagine how happy and grateful you’ll feel!
Step Six: Write Your Positive Affirmation 55 Times Again (Day Three)
This is the third day when you write out your positive affirmation 55 times. Make sure you take the time to set your energy before your start and maintain the energy and feeling as you write.
Step Seven: Write Your Positive Affirmation 55 Times Again (Day Four)
So, you know what you’re doing by now! Write your positive affirmation out 55 times in your workbook. Keep your energy high and positive. You’re nearly there!
Step Eight: Write Your Positive Affirmation 55 Times Again (Day Five)
This is the 5th and final day that you’ll write your positive affirmation out 55 times. Now more than ever, it’s important that you take the time to set your energy before you get started (re-visit Step One).
Don’t fall into the trap of mindlessly going through the motions just to get it finished today. You’ve put A LOT of time and effort into this, so make sure you complete this final day with the right energy and mindset!
And when you’re done make sure you have a little celebratory whoop whoop cheer! You’ve completed all five days and I’m so proud of you! Good for you! The fact that you saw this through to the end means that your goal is truly important to you. You know this, and the Universe does too.

Step Nine: Let It Go
Now you’ve finished all five days of your 55×5 manifestation exercise, here’s the most important part of the whole process.
Now you need to let it go. You’ve done the work and the Universe has taken note. You now need to hand it over to the Universe and trust that it is being taken care of.
You need to let go of the outcome. This means that you need to stop thinking, worrying and obsessing about your goal.
Don’t think or worry about when it will manifest. Focus on being in a state of calm and peace knowing that it will come to you when the time is right.

I know this can be easier said than done, but it’s important. If you start obsessing about it and worrying that it hasn’t happened yet, you’ll go straight into a low energetic vibration and you’ll actually block it from happening.
Remember, it might happen in one week. It might take one month or even one year. You need to make your peace with it and move your focus and attention onto something else.
Know that the Universe has a plan for you, and it’s probably something more amazing than you could even imagine – it often is!
Step Ten: Co-Create with the Universe
Another benefit of letting go of the outcome is that you’re calmer and more relaxed. This means you’re more able to notice the signs and signals from the Universe that your goal is on it’s way.
Manifestation is about co-creating our life with the Universe. Once you’ve finished your 55×5 manifestation exercise it’s not time to put your feet up and wait for something to happen.
The way manifesting happens is that the Universe provides us with insight, ideas, inspiration, opportunities and guidance that will direct us towards our goal. Our role is to take inspired action when guidance and opportunities are presented to us.
For example, you completed the 55×5 manifestation exercise as you wanted to change your career and get into marketing. You might receive guidance from the Universe in the following forms:
- You notice an advert on LinkedIn for a Career Coach who specialises in helping professionals in the marketing industry.
- You receive a phone call from a friend who’s heard about an opening for a marketing role in her company.
- You receive a voucher for a free annual subscription to the Marketing Monthly magazine.
This guidance just appeared in your life – you might think of it as luck or chance, but nothing happens by chance with the Universe. These opportunities presented themselves, now you need to take some action to move you towards your goal. Call the Career Coach and make an appointment. Submit your resume to the marketing job. Fill in the subscription for the marketing magazine…
The action steps you take don’t need to be huge, but you do need to take a few actions every day towards your goal. The Universe will present the opportunities to you – you need to take action on them.
55×5 Manifestation: Final Thoughts
As you can see, the 55×5 manifestation method is a powerful tool which can help you manifest real change and transformation in your life!
There’s few things more exciting than creating your own reality and getting exactly what you want. It may sound impossible, but it’s not. It takes some work and a little time, but with the right mindset and effort anyone can do it. And if you’re willing to put in the work, manifestation is one of the most rewarding experiences on earth. Knowing that all your hard work has finally paid off is an amazing feeling!
